MOTs | Servicing | Diagnostics | Repairs
MOTs
The MOT test is designed to make sure that your vehicle is roadworthy and safe. The MOT is different to servicing as it does not check your car's mechanical operation, rather it ensures that your car meets required safety and environmental standards. During an MOT test, standard checks are carried out in accordance with VOSA testing regulations. The test takes around one hour, you're welcome to wait in our waiting room with viewing area or leave your vehicle in our capable hands, we work with you to suit your needs.
Servicing
We offer servicing for Renaults plus all other makes and models including light commercials vans. Through the current updated European law "Block Exemption" (2003) and by using parts of a genuine standard your vehicles warranty will remain protected when serviced at Renspec. We service vehicles as per the Manufactures Service Schedules using up to date equipment.

- Renewal of Fuel Filter
- Renewal of engine Spark Plugs
- Check Antifreeze strength and replenish where required
- Replacement of Pollen Filter

Both services include completion of Service Book, any recommendations will be reported and discussed prior to any work being undertaken.
Diagnostics
Modern vehicles have on-board computer systems which log data about your car's performance, often when there is a potential fault within the system a warning light will appear illuminated on the dashboard. We have the latest and current versions of computer software to access your vehicles computers and fault find. At Renspec we are unique in that we use the same 'Clip' computor diagnostic equipment as the main Renault dealers and can offer you the same service for a fraction of the cost!
Repairs
Here at Renspec in Poole, we also offer general car repairs, from brake pad changes, clutch replacements through to key recode and warning light reprogramming. We offer repairs on all aspects of your vehicle including engine, gearbox, steering, suspension, fuel system, exhaust, electrics and more. We also have air conditioning equipment so can re-gas and service your air con.
